This book "Impact of Television Advertising on Nepalese Children" is my Ph D thesis submitted to Dr. K N Modi University, Jaipur, India. It is pioneer work in Nepalese context. Impact of advertising has become a subject matter of considerable debate whether it is positive or negative in society. The present study is conducted to examine the perception of audiences towards television advertising targeted at children. In fact, the study is based on the perception of matured audiences about the impact of television advertising on immature audiences. The study is conducted in the urban areas of Kathmandu Valley which is considered as the most developed city of Nepal. The study found that the impact of television on Nepalese children is both positive as well as negative. I will be fortunate if my work becomes successful to give value to all stakeholders.
