The great gleaming Glacier filled the whole Valley with its blinding snow-white Reflection. Its Truths lay hidden beneath millions of tons of numbing ice which preserved its sacred Secrets. No one ever realized the Glacier was a mechanism Nature would use to help Humans. The Glacier had watched Human migrations pass it by for 30-thousand years. Sometimes, a few Nomadic groups stayed and the Great Work of Nature witnessed the Lifetimes of whole families. She loved the sounds of the children. But She could not understand the terrible events she saw when the children grew to be adults. She wondered whether growing up was a disease in their Minds. In the Beginning, the people of the migrations seemed secure and vigorous. They laughed and seemed joyful. But later civilization of migrants who came to Her were different. She watched as they killed each other.
