It was in particular Stings excellent talent in composition that was the determining factor which brought success for the band. After four studio albums, tireless tours and huge publicised conflicts of the three guys the band achieved the highlight of their success in summer 1983 with the album “Synchronicity”. After that the three musicians concentrated on their own projects - the band never split up officially. Sting who had the most successful solo career rejected a new collaboration with Summers and Copeland for years. But there was proof that wonders do occur in the beginning of 2007. The comeback of one of the most genial bands became reality – “The Police” came back. The world tour achieved an outstanding success. Fans and critics confirmed with enthusiasm that this tour would definitely become the concert tour of the year 2007. 30 years music history with mega hits of the top class were played in front of 75.000 frantic cheering fans in Rio.
