Thriller in which a grieving couple endure a night of terror after offering sanctuary to a young woman in distress. Novelist Jonathan Dade (Milo Ventimiglia) and his wife Addie (Sarah Shahi) recently lost their three-year-old son in a drowning accident. Haunted by his death, they retreat to their remote home to try and piece their lives back together.

One day they are surprised by the arrival of Rachel (Sara Paxton), a young woman who explains that she was attacked and chased by men in masks while attempting to change a flat tyre. Jonathan and Addie agree that she can stay the night but may come to regret the decision when the men in masks emerge from the darkness and all manner of strange events begin unfolding...
