FAINTHEART stars Eddie Marsan (VERA DRAKE, HAPPY-GO-LUCKY) as Richard a keen battle re-enactment enthusiast who spends his weekends as a viking warrior, much to the exasperation of his estranged wife Cath (Jessica Hynes, SPACED, SHAUN OF THE DEAD). Desperate to win back his fair maiden and make his son Martin proud, Richard embarks on his greatest quest yet.

What sets FAINTHEART apart from other 'feel good' underdog Britcoms is the innovative use of networking site MySpace as a creative tool. Cast, crew, story and soundtrack were recruited and selected from thousands of entrants, in collaboration with Vertigo Films and the UK Film Council; harnessing a wealth of untapped UK talent.
