The seven-episode series NUMBER 10, originally aired on ITV in 1983, focuses on a selection of British Prime Ministers throughout history and their relationships with the famous house on Downing Street. William Pitt the Younger, the Duke of Wellington, Benjamin Disraeli, William Gladstone, Lloyd George, Herbert Asquith, and James Ramsey MacDonald are portrayed in each hour-long biopic by such distinguished actors as Jeremy Brett, Dennis Quilley, John Stride and Ian Richardson.
