Official Secrets DVD

Gavin Hood directs this drama based on the actions of whistle-blower Katherine Gun (Keira Knightley). When GCHQ translator Katherine receives an e-mail describing the intentions of the NSA to carry out an illegal operation to bug the UN offices of six countries, the outraged employee makes a copy of the e-mail and leaks it to the press. What ensues is an international scandal that undermines the Iraq War, leading to Katherine being charged with breaching the Official Secrets Act.

About to lose everything, Katherine and her legal team work tirelessly to prove her innocence and defend the measures she took to bring the truth to the public forum. The cast also includes Ralph Fiennes, Matt Smith and Rhys Ifans.
