Boxing drama set in post-WWII Japan co-written and co-directed by Reza Ghassemi and Adam VillaSenor. When a heavyweight bout is announced between Japanese champion Masahiro (Yusuke Ogasawara) and washed-up American fighter Clint Sullivan (Tyler Wood) both fighters must overcome personal challenges in their preparations for the fight. Masahiro visits a remote cabin and comes under the tutelage of Tetsuro (Hiroyuki Watanabe), a former champion who uses eccentric methods to prepare his pupil for the fight.
Meanwhile, Sullivan is encouraged to lose the fight in order to satisfy a deal with yakuza gangsters arranged by his manager Silas (S. Scott McCracken).
