Red Rocket

Director Sean Baker looks at struggling small-town America in this complex drama. After 17 years working in the adult film industry, Mikey Davies (Simon Rex) returns to his small Texas hometown and moves back in with his estranged wife Lexi (Bree Elrod). Struggling to find work, he starts dealing drugs and becomes infatuated with Strawberry (Suzanna Son), a teenage employee of the local donut shop, hoping to persuade her to travel to Los Angeles with him to pursue a career in adult films.
