2008 release, the first volume in this series that revisits the catalogue of the late R&B entrepreneur John Dolphin, concentrating on rare and unissued material that he produced for the first of his many record labels, All tracks were recorded in Hollywood, in the early '50s. 25 tracks including cuts from Tony Allen, Pee Wee Crayton, Scatman Crothers, Jesse Belvin, Little Caesar, the Red Calendar Sextette and many others.
