The double-album 'The World of Hans Zimmer - A Symphonic Celebration' released by Sony Classical. The album features the music from the Zimmer-curated 'World of Hans Zimmer' international concert tour by Semmel Concerts. For this album Hans Zimmer has newly arranged his greatest hits and made them into electrifying concert suites for orchestra, choir and an impressive list of soloists.

The recording took place at the famous traditional concert hall Wiener Konzerthaus featuring the renowned ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra and choir Neue Wiener Stimmen conducted by Martin Gellner in the course of the 'Hollywood in Vienna' festival, showcasing big soloists such as Lisa Gerrard, Pedro Eustache, Valentina Nafornita and many more. The album was arranged, mixed and mastered by Hans Zimmer and his team and includes his greatest hits, such as The Dark Knight, Inception, Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Da Vinci Code amongst others. The booklet includes a personal note by Hans Zimmer.
