Limited Clear Diamond vinyl pressing as part of 'Atlantic 75' reissue series.
"Led Zeppelin IV", also known as "Untitled" or "Four Symbols", is arguably one of the most monumental albums in rock history, released in 1971 by the British rock band Led Zeppelin. It is often considered the strongest studio album from the band and is one of the best-selling albums of all time, with certified sales of over 23 million copies in the United States alone.
The album showcases Led Zeppelin's innovative approach to music, blending hard rock, folk, and blues in a way that was groundbreaking at the time. It features some of Led Zeppelin's most iconic tracks, including "Stairway to Heaven" which is frequently cited as one of the greatest rock songs ever written. Other notable tracks include "Black Dog," "Rock and Roll," and "When the Levee Breaks," the last of which is even considered a sort of early inspiration for hip-hop with its characteristic drum beat, one of the most recognisable drum beats of all time.
