Heimataerde

Unter den Linden / Vater Heimataerde

Heimataerde has created something utterly unique by blending medieval music with modern hard electro. The result is a fascinating exploration into our past as well as the future. Beautiful female vocals and ancient instrumentation clash beautifully with punchy beats and driving 303 synth lines. the result is a fascinating blend of raw power and emotional depth. The out of print reissue of Unter den linden focuses on western European influcenses [Walter von der Vogelweide/ Carmina Burana] and put Heimataerde on the map with their intoxicating combination of styles The new Vater EP explores the relationship between the western crusaders and their middle eastern counterparts resulting in absolutely amazing dance tracks [think dead can dance in the 21st century] highly recommended!
