Frankie Lee Sims
Frankie Lee Sims was one of the great down home Texas blues men of the 1950s. The cousin of Lightning Hopkins, he was very much the same type of artist, along with contemporaries Smokey Hogg and Lil' Son Jackson. Recorded in New York for the enjoy label in 1960, previously unissued "long lost" session (3 tracks were only available on a 1980s bootleg LP) and features remakes of his biggest hits "Lucy Mae Blues" and "Walking with Frankie".
