**Paul Draper** is a man with plenty of history behind him as the former frontman of *Mansun*, who were one of the most iconic bands of the late '90s. Their four albums launched the band in to a fervent cult following, Taking its cue from two EPs released last year and recorded in collaboration with *Catherine AD (The Anchoress)* and long time Mansun collaborator *P Dub*, the record's eleven tracks also veer through genres, from warped, razored Rock'n'Roll to glorious widescreen analogue Pop.

'Spooky Action' will be released in early August, preceding a sold-out headline UK tour, featuring the glistening synthetic soul single 'Things People Want' and warped voodoo psych grat-track 'Don't Poke The Bear'. Lyrically, it's a biting and brutally honest record - an autobiography set to captivating and addictive melodies.

Taking its cue from the two EPs and recorded in collaboration with Catherine AD (The Anchoress) and longtime Mansun collaborator P Dub, the record's eleven tracks also veer through genres, from the warped, razored rock'n'roll in 'Grey House' to the glorious widescreen analogue pop of 'Jealousy Is A Powerful Emotion'. 'Spooky Action' represents Draper's strongest, most consistent set of songs to date - a lifetime's work condensed into just over an hour of perfectly formed music.

The album will be released as a CD presented in a digipack packaging complete with a 16-page booklet and artwork by Steve Stacey, whose previous work includes Calvin Harris, Manic Street Preachers, Circa Waves and Lou Reed.
