Live in Concert Brent Watkins

Brent Watkins began his musical studies at the age of 7 in San Diego, California. His past teachers include Rae Klenke, Alexander Tutunov, and Gregory Allen. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Southern Oregon University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Texas. Brent has been a top prize winner in national and international competitions, including the Pacific Piano International Competition, the Missoula Symphony Competition, the Russian American Music Association International Competition, and the University of Texas Concerto Competition. In May of 2001 he made his Carnegie Hall debut and since then has given solo performances throughout the U.S., Canada, Russia, and the Netherlands. He has given concerto performances with the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon, the ABC Orchestra, the Missoula Symphony Orchestra, and the Rogue Valley Symphony. He currently resides with his wife and son in Austin, TX, where he is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas.
