2008 release from the lead singer of Total Touch. On 'For Once In My Life', Trijntje Oosterhuis pays tribute to the songwriting talents of Stevie Wonder. Trijntje is a very capable jazz/pop singer for a cover album like this and actually adds a different dimension to Stevie Wonder's classic hits. The Dutch Trijntje is blessed with a voice full of soul and she is backed by a top Dutch (studio) soul band that knows how to pay tribute to Master Blaster Stevie Wonder. Of course, you can't beat the original from Mr. Wonder himself, but she does it in her own style and comes as close as you can get, even with complicated songs like "Superstition", "I Wish", "Higher Ground" and "Living For The City".
